Frequently Asked Questions
Will RINKSET work with my cooler?
RINKSET is designed to work with most hard-shell coolers that have a drain plug, especially common models from Coleman and Woods.
If your cooler has a removable drain assembly, there’s a very good chance it’ll work. By the time we launch RINKSET we'll share a comprehensive list of compatible cooler models, and for the handier people among us, instructions on how modify a cooler that doesn't have a drain-hole.
How hard is it to install RINKSET?
It’s a quick seasonal swap. Most installs take under 5 minutes.
You’re essentially converting your cooler from summer mode to rink mode. No permanent changes required for standard coolers.
What tools do I need?
For most coolers, none.
RINKSET includes a built-in tool for removing drain plugs on common models.
If your cooler doesn’t have a drain, it can still be adapted with a simple 3/4" hole, with guidance provided.
Is RINKSET ready to buy?
RINKSET is currently in the final stages of validation and preparing for production.
We’re planning a crowdfunding launch, and early supporters will be the first to get access.
When will RINKSET be available?
We’re aiming for a crowdfunding launch during the 2027 rink season. Join the mailing list to stay in the loop and get early access.
How much will RINKSET cost?
We’re targeting a retail price under $100 CAD, making it a much more accessible option compared to traditional hose-based systems that usually start around $250 CAD.
What will RINKSET come with?
RINKSET base model will include:
-resurfacer body
-32" washable applicator towel
-tow harness
